When will I use the data recovery service?
Here you can find description of the symptoms of
data loss.
Generally, you will use our services when you simply can’t access your
data. Unfortunately, we can’t help if the
data (medium) is not physically available.
How can I prevent or precede a data loss?
BACKUP, BACKUP, and again BACKUP. If you are interested, we can provide a consultation to find the best solution for you.
Perform regular checks of the backup.
Use antivirus programs.
Keep your computer and media in a clean and safe environment. Be aware of excess dustiness and/or insufficient air-conditioning
Treat the computer and media with care (especially be aware of mechanical damage, shocks, temperature changes, etc.)
How much will I pay for the recovery?
Look at our
approximate price list.
How long does the data recovery take?
The initiative analysis of the possibility of
recovering the
data is usually performed within a few hours; the
data rescue itself doesn’t usually take more than 2 days. If the customer requires an express term, we work on the order without break from the moment of the order until its completion.
Do you also repair hard disks?
A repair of a
hard disk is usually more financially demanding than to buy a new
disc. For this reason,
we do not do repairs.
Do you sell replacement parts?
No.
How can I deliver the damaged medium?
The method of delivery is completely up to you.

How does the data recovery process go?

What will you save the recovered data to?
Also this is completely up to you. We can save the
recovered data to a
hard disk supplied by you, or to a medium bought from us (
hard drive, USB flash
disk).
For
hard disks, we recommend performing duplication of all the
data, the best 1:1. However, on request, we can perform so called
file copy, suitable e.g. if you want to keep the original
data on the
disk.
We do not
charge for the
data volume, or for duplicating to another
hard disk.
The duplication can be done while one waits upon previous agreement.

What is your success rate?
We like to comment on our success rate by the words “if there is any
data on the media, we will
recover it”. Our success rate is in the majority of cases more than 99 %, and in overwhelming majority, we succeed in complete
recovery of the
data, therefore
100 %.
We strongly point out, that the chance to
recover the
data drops
sharply with any attempts to
recover the
data by your own means, especially opening the
hard disk.
Is the warranty maintained during the data recovery?
In 99 % of cases, yes.

The best proof of our responsible approach and maximum care and protection of the entrusted
data is the already typical trust of the customers handling sensitive or confidential
data, as well as not even small mistakes regarding the safety rules throughout our entire history.
We are always ready to prepare special contractual conditions for the specific customer's needs.

Can I be present during the data recovery?
No, especially for the reason of
data protection.
Can you come to us?
Unfortunately, in the majority of cases, special equipment available only at our lab is needed. But we can pickup the order at your place for free (valid in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Germany).
Can I check the presence of the recovered data at your place?
Of course.
Can I wait for the analysis results?
Yes. However, in case of some complicated defects and software damage, the analysis can take up to several tens of hours.
